1. Focus on the situation you want to forgive.
2. Let all the memories, emotions, beliefs, and sensory information associated with the situation come up without judging them. You must feel them to heal.
3. Let go of all the memories, emotions, beliefs, and sensory information associated with the situation. Sometimes just letting them come up non-judgmentally (previous step) is enough. If you feel you need more, find a safe way to get them out of your energy fields and body – journaling, painting, drawing, singing, taking a walk – whatever works for you.
4. Focus on the situation again. How do you feel? What thoughts come up in your mind? Is there anything more to release? If so, repeat these steps until the situation is emotionally neutral, like grocery shopping or showering. If the situation happened in your adult life, its roots are most likely in childhood or a past life. You’ll need to forgive those to be free.
